While it's been a quiet week so far, today saw us regain some ground with a $7.10 winner. We came close to almost doubling that, but our additional contender Elmsford was beaten home to finish 2nd.

We had high hopes today as three of our five tips promised over $10 for a win.  Only one of these ended up a contender and finished 2nd paying only $2.30 for a place. But our win today came from Major Canny who with $7.10 win divs saved the day.

Despite no winners today we did have cause for hope with 3 seconds and 1 third place. Three of our tipped horses came up at odds greater than $10, one at nearly double that, and in the end two of them finished for a place.  Both of these placegetters paid nearly $4.

This week brought us a steady trickle of winners without the usual staple of placegetters. Three winners in total, with today's winner at $8.00 making the wait worth our while.

Some patience was required today, as the 6 racing tips all ran late in the day. But our patience was rewarded with a pair of winners both paying nice dividends which combined paid $13.60. With just 2 winners we managed to double our money.
